Clean City Promotion and Management Plan for Taichung City in Year

(1) Site inspection and supervision visits to various projects: The project has applied subsidy of NTD38,882,000 from the Environmental Protection Administration for public toilet repairs and construction projects in 26 sites in 2019; the results included inspection and supervision visits in 23 sites (one of which has been conducted twice visits). (2) Checking the content of various project plans: Reviewing the project plan and design content of public toilet repair and construction project plans of 93 public toilets in 26 sites (in total 33 times). (3) Control of various work progress: 4 projects planned in 2018 have been completed, expenses have been checked, and funding has been granted; among the 10 projects planned in 2019, 2 have started and 8 have been completed; the actual implementation rate of the capital budget of 2019 plans (including the retention fund of 2018 plans) was 76.84%, and the actual implementation rate of the regular budget of 2019 plans was 95.60% (100% of the regular budget of 2018 plans has been fully paid). (4) Integrating the overall project results and uploading to the “Ecolife” website: 7 critical items in 2018 and 2019 has been consolidated, and uploaded to the “Ecolife” website. (5) Filing inspection reports of the environmental sanitary quality of public toilets: 1,310 public toilets were inspected and repaired. The types of public toilets inspected included 501 male toilets, 498 female toilets and 311 other types (including 2 unisex toilets, 47 mixed toilets, 247 accessible restrooms and 15 family restrooms); the ratio of male and female toilets was about 1:1; location distribution were 525 in parks, 211 in tourist areas and scenic spots, and 172 in markets; the male and female stall ratio was 1:2.3, and the ratio of sitting toilets to squatty potty was 1:1.15. (6) Promoting the adoption of public toilets: Promoting 6 entrepreneurs to adopt 107 public toilets. (7) Holding learning activities for cleaning public toilet: The first activity was held at the Wurih Junior High School on November 11, 2019, and the second activity was held at the National Library of Public Information on November 19, 2019. (8) Assisting in the evaluation of the maintenance effectiveness of public toilets: The planning and compilation of the "2019 Taichung City Public Toilets Cleaning Maintenance Management Plan" has been completed and reported to the Environmental Protection Administration. (9) Compiling the report on the implementation results of the friendly urban-rural and high-quality public toilet project: The "Project Report of Friendly (Top-grade) Urban-rural Environment Construction Project for 2018" and "2019 Public Toilets Improvement and High-quality Public Toilets Promotion Project" were made following the format stipulated by the Environmental Protection Administration. 10 copies of the 2018 report have been made and printed after approval by the Environmental Protection Bureau. (10) Applying for high-quality public toilet projects: The project has assisted in applying for the 2020 budget for “Public Toilets Improvement and High-quality Public Toilets Promotion Project” to repair 35 old public toilets in 11 sites, and the approved budget subsidy was NTD17,524,121 (including local self-funding). (11) Assisting in holding the Environmental Protection Administration meetings and administrative matters related to project implementation: assisted in managing 18 administrative matters and 4 meetings.
